Nairobi national park is the only world national park found in the city, the park is strategically located, only 7km from Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city. The savanna ecosystem supports a number of wildlife and vegetation. Acacia bushes and open glass are the predominant. The western side has a highland dry forest permanent river with riverine in the south. A number of man-made feature like the dam have also contributed for further habitat conducive for some species of bird and animal.
